Wow, I’ve been saying “I’m going to start a blog” for like a year now. That was way to easy for me to justify not slapping myself for not having done this earlier. I know that just sounded like a double negative, but I’m pretty positive that I’m still very negative. So here goes…*slap*-ouch! Now that that’s done with, I think I need to mention ON THE WATERFRONT. That’s another one of those “Why didn’t I do This Sooner” incidents. Watched it last night and the Brando/Kazan combo fucking blew me away. I’m going to rent some of Kazan’s other flicks probably starting with Streetcar. Look for a post later for a more detailed response to On the Waterfront, the emotions it evoked are still bubbling and forming. For today, I’m going to drop a batch of old pictures created by some friends and myself in our 2007 show “The Living City”. I hope to get some bigger files of them up here later. New Goal: Get another gallery show before it’s me saying “I coulda’ been a contender.”
